So I forgot I had a website...

Somewhere last year I decided it was a good idea to have a website. Sure, I share quite a lot of Tiki related pictures on my personal facebook account but for an article in De Morgen Magazine I was asked to provide the address of my website. A blog it would be and I kinda forgot all about it as soon as the problems with my wrist were over and I got back into carving wooden Tiki's and scupting new mugs.

As you might know I'm a teacher, which means I'm on spring break right now. I hooked up with my buddy Sid Frisjes so he could introduce me - again - in the wonders of blogging. This time, I'll try not to wait half a year to write a new post. Hell, I'll even update the different picture pages. And since it'ts carnival all around the world, this is us, going crazy at Venuez last year, not even during the carnival period 'cause that's how we roll! Mahalo!

Here goes ...

However statistics might prove me wrong, turns out not everybody in this world is on facebook. I could be a rich man if I had a Euro for everytime  someone asked me what my website was. So here it is, Flap's Tikis, a little summary of all the Tiki things that keep me going day in and day out. Mahalo!

Mr. Daniele Dalla Pola and me © Johan Van Droogenbroeck

From the very day I got to meet Daniele Dalla Pola in a pop-up cocktailbar in Antwerp, things got kinda crazy. Besides Belgium, there's mugs and sculptures of mine to be found in Italy, Switzerland, Hawaii, France, United States, Russia and so on.

I'll try to update this website / blog once in a while or whenever I've got something really cool to share.
